Holiday Card Samples....

The very talented Tina Parker designed these beautiful templates for her Photographer Fans to purchase... Here are a few samples of what will be available to purchase for Christmas Photo Cards this year. Something different, and soooo pretty~ I love the scrapbook feel to them (but think HOURS or work you don't have to do!) Colors and fonts can be edited, and any type of greeting or holiday msg can be added.
Aren't they beautiful! Thank you to Adrienne, JP and Easton for letting me use some of their family photo's from our session last week to sample with!

Important Information...and pictures :)

PLEASE NOTE: Any orders placed through the online Proof gallery are not getting to me. There is a bug in the system that the lab is trying to work out. I appologize for this inconvenience! Please if you have attempted to place your order this way, resend it to me through email or phone 778-4216 Thank you! Once I receive your order and payment it will take up to 2 weeks for you to get your order. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter!!!
ALSO: any albums loaded to the online proof gallery in the last week are not showing up yet for an unknown reason. I am working with the lab to have this fixed ASAP, and will let each of you know once your gallery is there to look at.

In the meantime, because Michelle hasn't seen any images from her session yet I'm throwing in a few teasers while she patiently waits for her gallery to be fixed. Here are a few of my favorites from their session!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Tonight was sad. Avery was SO overtired, and didn't have her nap today. So at bedtime I said "Avery, you have school tomorrw, you need to get some sleep.." thinking that would do the trick. Nope. She burst into tears "I DON'T WANNA GO TO SCHOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!" I'm pretty sure this fit was because she was tired, but at the same time... I'm starting to feel a bit nervous about tomorrow! It's her first day of Playschool...actually it's her orientation, so I get to stay with her. My little girl.... going to school!!!! Crazy. Where has the time gone? I had to look through my old photo albums tonight to remember what she looked like a year ago... she has changed SO much in a year. She has grown a lot taller, and her hair longer. She asks things that some adults don't think to question. She is a smart cookie. Some might say a smart a-- at times ;) Amazing what happens all in a year. In a year from now... I'm going to have another BABY!!! Sorry to share this all here. I'm trying to go from "personal blog" to "professional blog" until I have my website completed, but sometimes just writing this out makes me feel better, so that I can sleep! SLEEP.... why can't I get enough of it?? I swear I'm getting 10-12hrs a day now, and I'm yawning all throughout the day. I hope this is just first trimester stuff. Well I better get going to bed... it's 11:21 and I can't believe I'm still up! (sheesh my bedtime used to be 2am!) I just wanted to let everyone know too that all proofing is done to date :) Everything has been loaded to the lab and waiting to be posted to your individual proofing gallery's... you will be getting an email from me in the next few days with your album name and password. I've also mailed out my information guide to anyone who expressed an interest in booking a fall session... please check your 'junk email' in case you don't have it already. Please let me know if you would like to receive information on booking a session this fall.... there are only a few days left in September!

{I will be posting pictures tomorrow, please check back soon!}
Wish Avery luck on her first day to Playschool tomorrow! I hope she wakes up and forgets about her tears about not wanting to go!

Coming Soon!!

Christmas Holiday Cards available soon!! Here is a sneak peak ;) Check back next week for many different choices!

These cards are going to be UNIQUE and GORGEOUS :)

Sick of my kids yet?

Sorry.... it was the quickest thing I could find so that nobody could say I went a whole week without posting! lol.. It's been a busy week for us. We signed all the paper work on the new house. Now we get to sit back and wait.... they will be digging the basement any day now! The finish date is set for the end of MAY...so we have plenty of time to pick out colors, cupboards and flooring. These builders are so busy, which is why it will take an honest amount of time to build. Also this week.... signed Jaden and Avery up tonight for skating. Went to the Community Connections sign up night, and that is what they wanted! Avery wanted "boogy woogy" (a baton/dance) until Jaden picked Skating over taekwando (sp?) She wants to join him which will make life easier on me and Rene. So now both in skating wednesdays, until December. Not hockey...but learning how to get up on skates and move around :) The program is for 3-5yr olds. Also, we have some company for the next few weeks. Rene's brother Dorien and his fiance Nat are living in their camper in our backyard as they anxiously wait for their new trailer to be ready for them! It's been fun having company, but I'm not sure what they think about spending so much time with 2 kids who LOOOOVE being with them!? lol.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend... I have a lot of proofing to do this weekend so will have some good fun stuff to share next week!

Fun times at the park....

My kids were begging to go for ice cream today (something we do most Saturdays) So as a Mom, I had to think of something they could do for me to get this special treat :) I packed up my camera gear, and dressed them up a bit, and off to Rotary Park we went! It was so sunny, and a nice day to be outside. We had a lot of fun, they were giggling and making silly faces when I wanted them to be serious for the camera... the usual. I was working on a new technique, the back button focus.... all was going well. Just as we decided to leave... I happened to notice a small baggy on the ground near where we were. I wasn't sure until I picked it up and smelled the contents inside. *weed* nice eh? A bag of drugs, at my feet. What would you do? I wasn't sure... I looked around, nobody was that close to us... so I carried it to my vehicle, and told Jaden and Avery we had to bring it to the Police Station. OF COURSE I had to take a few pictures of it first ;) lol..... so here are a few from our very interesting day! And yes, we brought the bag to the Police Station. I felt a little strange carrying a bag of drugs from my vehicle to the door...but it was the right thing to do. I also set a nice example with my kids, and had a vague 'talk' about drugs.
