So Thankful

To my Grandma! Her and Grandpa bought the land and built a cabin for their family to have a place to 'get away' I believe they bought it in the early 70's?? What is so cool to me is that growing up, my brothers, sister and I spent *many* weekends at the cabin...and now I am going there with my kids! It's a beautiful place, one of my favorites in the world. I feel so at home, sitting around the camp fire, walking along the lake, and doing dishes in the cabin :) We parked our camper there, and tomorrow I am driving out to the lake to spend 3 weeks there. What a gift that was passed down to me, and now to my own children!!! The memories I have from the cabin are priceless.... and I soon hope that Jaden and Avery start making some memories of their own that they will never forget. Thank you Grandma, and Mom for all of this!

I am leaving Friday evening....and will be out of my office until August 13th. I will have my cell phone with me 780-404-3384 just in case someone needs to get a hold of me. Many changes are on the way with regards to Photography By Adrienne, and I am so excited to share them!! I may drop a few teasers from my mom dad's house ;)

{Athabasca River}

..and Rotary Park are the reasons why you can't buy a tube, boat, or any floating device around here. These are *hot spots* this summer with the 30 degree weather! I have yet to float down the river myself, but have heard by many how much fun it is. My sister Alix and her friend Faye go down often.... I dropped them off and snapped a few of the kids while we were there. The view of the Athabasca River down there is beautiful!

I had to wake Rene up to come see the sky when it looked like this last week. All those ripples were odd.

{THE} Rotary Park!

The best place to be on these hot summer days with my kids! LOVE Rotary Park!!! You may have heard me mention this place before....the waterslide is sooo cool, the kids have so much fun going up and down on it, and playing in the sand. It is our Godsend in this 30+weather!! Here is our first night out there this summer... took awhile for Jaden and Avery to feel comfortable enough to play on it, but once they did we couldn't get them out.... trust me, they were kicking and screaming when it was time to go! It was also 9:30 pm when we finally DID leave! lol.....

On our way home the kids quickly forgot about how upset they were about leaving, when they saw these 2 in a yard right in town!

They were so funny, and the one on the left was scratching his face...

{I'm Back!!}

These are 3 adorable little one's who just received a new sister! See below... yup Mom is a busy one, and looks amazing for having 4 children!! I can't wait to finish proofing this session :)

I AM SO HAPPY! We bought a new computer (don't ask what it is, I have no idea! lol) but......... it rocks!! It is a gazzillion times faster then the old one, my programs for photo editing run so much smoother and faster. I never thought it would be *so* much better. I am a very happy girl right now.... oh and Telus High Speed, again, WAY WAY WAY better then cablerocket!! (i can't get sued for saying that can I???) So now I have a ton to catch up on...and I will *promise* So without further ado, I leave you with some recent images!



This week has been very busy with proofing, setting up the new computer,preparing a new website (!!!) and getting ready to leave town for a whole 3 weeks! I'm very excited to go camping with my kids and Rene! I will be able to check emails at my Mom & Dad's, and will leave my cell number on my blog before I leave.

The kids are enjoying the summer, we've been loving the HOT weather...even with the +30 weather (thank goodness for the basement, and Rotary Park...pics to follow at a later date!) They are so excited that their cousins Dawson and Brianna are camping near Whitecourt this week..we spent this afternoon at the outdoor waterslide at Rotary Park with them and had a blast!

Plans for the new house are sloooowly coming along.... everyone is so busy, contractors and banks included! ;) We have made our changes to the plans and hope to see the ground break by the end of July!

{Still Here}

I'm having troubles with either my internet or computer and it sucks. Can't upload pictures to blogger, and now I can't load pictures to my lab for processing of images...I've phoned Telus to get their HIGHspeed and I'm cancelling with cablenet and it is time to buy a new computer!!! Can you believe that we've never bought one before?? Rene got one from his dad about 8yrs ago, and at the time it was a few yrs old, and his brother has been upgrading it for us every few yrs. We also upgraded the monitor, but time for a fancy new GORGEOUS FAST, easy to use COMPUTER!!! Should be picking it up this weekend, and I can't wait! Meanwhile, I can not load pictures.... I will keep trying but it hasn't been cooperating with me much.

It's too bad I can't just snap my fingers and have a photo studio set up and ready for my business, I appreciate everybody's love, support and understanding as I venture into this Photography passion I have. I LOVE what I do and hope to have the business side of things running smoothly for you soon.

We will be moving into a new house around March, and already I am planning to have an office/studio set up in one part of the house.... very excited. I'm lucky to have my husband's support in all of this, thx babe!!!

Presenting: Baby Kaden!

This adorable lil boy belongs to my cousin Chelsea :) He is such a GOOD baby.... hardly cries, and just seems so content all the time. He is *VERY* loved by his Grandpa and Grandma and Aunty Stephanie!! I love the obvious bond between Mommy and Baby in this first photograph... thx for lookin!
