Miss these 2 kiddos!

I used to babysit these two cuties and got to go visit them today and take some maternity pictures of Meghan. Here are a few sneak peeks girly.... Happy Easter!

...One year ago, I took this picture of Avery. I was looking back at pictures today to see what kind of snow situation we had ;) Thought I'd share this one (again?)

Just when we thought it was Spring!

Well it started to snow again yesterday.....and the weather network says it will continue on into Monday!! I haven't opened my curtains, I'm in denial!!! I have been waiting 34 weeks for spring ;) I have been telling the kids "When the snow melts, the baby will be here, when the grass starts to turn green, the baby will be here, when we take out the rubber boots, the baby will be here!" .............. MOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMY, you said!!! Where is the baby!??!?!!? So now I'm trying to explain calendar pages, and showing them the end of April.... lol. I know the baby will come, but man it's such a long emotional wait! Last night I cleaned all the dust off the crib and then Rene and I realized we don't have the bolts or the wheels. We have NO idea where these parts are....so today I'll be phoning the customer service # and ordering new wheels and screws to put the crib together. I can't wait to have the room all ready for the baby!! I started washing receiving blankets and any newborn to 3 mos sleepers that will work for a boy or girl. As many of you know, I have been *stressing* so much over baby names.... and finally this last week, while laying in bed wide awake a boy name stood out to me more then any of the others, and a middle name for our girl name too! I'm sharing them, but I don't want to hear if you don't like them.... MOM! I seriously spent way too many nights thinking about names that I'm just happy to have a few to take with me to the hospital. I'm sleeping better too :) So if we have a baby GIRL, her name will likely be Halle Rae and if we have a BOY, his name will likely be Kian Jaxon. I say "likely" because when we had Avery, we had a list of about 10 girl names we really liked, and Avery was not on that list ;) So a lot will depend on how we feel when we look into those baby blue eyes :) All righty, enough babbling about my baby and on to some more maternity pictures from Bonnie's session! I WISH...

......that I could tell you that this was my pregnant belly ;) However, mine isn't so cute and free of stretch marks!! Bonnie is expecting her first baby at the end of April, here's one for now!

I {heart} Thursdays

Every other Thursday that is :) when it is Rene's first day off. We wake up together, get the kids ready for playschool and then once we drop them off we go for brunch together and talk about how we'll spend our day and our week. I always look forward to our breakfast date and wonder how this will work once the baby is born. I'm getting so giddy about what is to come! There is so much less snow in the last few weeks, everything is melting like crazy. The kids are going between winter boots and rubber boots, and a new baby to come :) Just wanted to wish you all a great Thursday! There is major excitement in my house right now.... Avery is THRILLED about Pajama day and Jaden has Upside Down, Inside Out day!

I am doing a maternity session this afternoon so come back tonight or tomorrow morning to see a few samples, I'm really looking forward to this one!

And the countdown is on... 55 days!

My due date is in exactly 55 days!! Ohhhhhhhhh boy I can't wait to have a new baby in the house :) I spent the weekend away with some very good friends, and was able to use that time to pick up some nursery items, and newborn sleepers. I am SO looking forward to decorating the baby room now, I love the decor and it will work so well for a boy or girl. We have NOOO idea what we are having but I'm beginning to feel less stressed about it this week. I have a newborn sleeper for baby boy or baby girl. And really....what does it matter? Heck, I could be happy with twins... and one of each ;) lol. I was asked by a few customers what my work schedule will be like during all of this, so it is posted below. Another great thing about being a photographer, I can work right up until baby is born and take only a few months off to enjoy our new family and get settled with all the changes a new baby will bring.
