Scrapbooking...

The hobby which led me to my love for Photography! I finally did some layouts last week, and actually took pictures of them to share, I have done a few more this week too...will post those later. Because I don't scan my layouts, they don't look as good here as they do up close. It's just easier to take snapshots so I can share. Thx for lookin!!!!

The freaky clouds last week during one of the many storms we saw recently!

We went to the show "Gentelmen prefer Blondes" at Mayfield with Dorien/Nat and Celine/Jason on Saturday night...thx to Rene's mom who bought us tickets for Christmas!

... still waiting to have online proofing, sorry for the delay, not sure what is taking so long on their side to have it up and running, but they keep telling me it will be *soon* !

Short and Sweet

Sure, Jaden is that......but I'm talking about this post ;) Just a quick picture of him chugging water out of his Tim Hortons cup on his last day of soccer for this year. He *LOVES* soccer and works so hard at each practice! We really enjoyed going to watch him too.....

Bits and Pieces...

I know it's been awhile since I've updated..... and in the beginning I was posting almost every day! I promise to update more frequently! It's a good sign though, right? It means I am busy enjoying life :) And with summer here, we've been outside a lot more, taking pictures, going quadding, camping and doing a *lot* of photo sessions :) I have a tons of work sitting on my desk, but I need a quick break from editing, so thought I'd leave you with a quick hello, and maybe a new picture? Sorry if this post is all over the place, after all it is 12:18am ;)

Rene was gone last week to a BOP course in Nisku and I was able to do a lot of scrapbooking which was a lot of fun..... (a lot for me being 5 layouts! wooohooo!!!!) He was out the door about five minutes and I was hauling my 'stuff' up to the kitchen table....and well actually it's still all on my table! I almost forgot how much fun it is to take my favorite pictures of the kids and create with them. I will post pictures this week, i already took some but need to upload them to my computer still. Jaden and Avery also got up to the table where I cleared a little spot for them, and they also made a 'scrapbooking page' I'm thinking of starting their albums now....and getting them to scrapbook every now and then. It's so cute, they slap stickers all over the place, and glue all kinds of scraps then they *write their name* For Avery that means a big ol letter "A" and Jaden is getting there, but sometimes it's so big, that the letters are all over.....and we're still working on the letter 'e'. He's been riding his 2-wheeler a lot, boy did he catch on to that quick, it's awesome! I think if I wanted to we could go for a bike ride/jog together..... ;)

Anyways, time for bed.... please don't give up on my little space on the web, I promise to post more pictures this week! I have some awesome one's from a storm that hit Whitecourt a few days ago, and also some fun pictures of the kids. Be back soon!!!

Sneak Peak!!

*SIGH* Honest To God that is what I did when I opened these pictures today! What a beautiful family... and so easy to work with! We went to the park and it was so relaxed and fun! Here are a few to share, thx for looking!

I'm having so much fun editing pictures today.... so many fun sessions in the last week! I'm getting to them as quickly as I can :) I should have the online proofing gallery for my customers set up this week, so exciting...but taking longer then I thought...Sorry to everyone waiting so patiently!

I'm a proud mom today!

I can't believe it! Look who is riding a 2 wheeler!!!! I was leaving for Walmart last night and as I'm grabbing keys I hear Rene tell Jaden "Ok, let's take them off and give it a try" I kind of laughed... as if. Jaden? MY boy who is too scared to climb the cupboard? I told him to be careful and to remember that it may take weeks before he get's it figured out..... Less then 20 min later I get home, and Rene has this little giggle... something was up. Jaden asks me to come and watch.. as I laugh and say "yeah right...." Rene gave the bike a little push and off he went! I nearly died...... it was like watching him walk for the first time at 9months. I even had tears in my eyes.. the look on his face, so proud! I was proud!! He figured it out in 15 minutes! Of course I ran into the house after watching for a few minutes so that I could capture this moment in time. I'm sure it will take a few weeks to have it all figured out, but he is doing it, and I am very proud to be his Mommy!

So Fun!

Their youngest son Graduated on Saturday. This young guy is blessed with a loving family and being there to capture some special moments was a great way to spend the day! Thank you Ryan Family, here are a few sneak peaks ;)

My sister snapped this one of me and Rene at my Grandma's Cabin!

The kids are really enjoying their quad, I love watching them drive around and around... with these HUGE smiles on their faces! We had such a good HOT weekend! Visited with family and friends. Sometimes I wonder why we go through the hassel of packing and unpacking to go to Lac la Biche and Plamondon, but after each trip we leave with our hearts a bit fuller.
