Back at it...

We are home!!! After spending 3 wonderful weeks in Plamondon and Lac La Biche, it is so nice to be home. I love my house, and Whitecourt is a nice place to live! Don't get me wrong, I love Plamondon too....after all that is where I have spent most of my life growing up, Rene too! Camping was great, the kids were for the majority of the holiday awesome, and thankfully nobody got sick. I did several photo sessions which was great, I met a few new people. I attended the weddings for Travis & Destiny, Rodney & Kathy and Tom and Allison. All of them beautiful and fun!

I need to say THANK YOU to everyone who made my holiday enjoyable...with Rene working every other week, I sure did get a lot of help with packing/camping/hauling/kid watching/meal making...and laundry (thx mom!!)! My oldest friend ever (since I was about 6) Tanya, came to spend the night at the cabin with her two little boys. It was the first time I saw her youngest son....and boy are they cute!! On a weekend that Rene came up, we camped at his Mom's acreage for 5 days with his family.... and the kids had *SO* much fun playing day/night with their cousins. It was so hot, and they all played so well together! We had a few play dates at the park... and made some new friends! (Found a few other ladies who share the same passion in photography: Terri and Allison!) I spent the long weekend camping in a campsite for the first time with the kids. Renee & Tony: Thank you so much again for pulling my camper, and helping me set up and take it all down when it was time to leave. These 2 just had their first baby Kacen.... who is a DOLL, and I had the chance to photograph him last week! They run Fish n Friends which is an excellent place to camp, and they run it so well :)

It was great spending time with family, playing cards with Grandma...who won every game of skip bo! Watching my kids hug and snuggle with my mom and dad... and watching Avery apply lotion on aunty Leonie's legs... then later learning it was funner to get the the lotion then to give it ;) I especially enjoyed the quiet moments with my kids..camping and at the park. We captured a lot of special moments and I will share some with you this week.

I better get back to work, I have several sessions to edit.... and want to share some sneak peaks later this evening. Hope everyone is enjoying the end of summer (yeah, i said it.) The cooler nights are a hint of what is to come.... I have so much going on behind the scenes of my photog. business, many new things to be announced soon! Leaving you with a moment I captured of my dad and Avery walking down the road at aunty Leonie's...
